Our Brangus calves are raised exclusively on our ranch. We raise them on green coastal grass & clover pastures through Spring & Summer and winter wheat & oat pastures during Fall & Winter. We supplement with free range minerals, and provide hay rations in the winter from Coastal Bermuda grass grown in our pastures and baled during the summer. The calves are rounded up in the Spring to record their weight gain, inoculate, and pour wormer on for parasite control. None of our livestock receive Growth Hormones, they are healthy and natural as can be.
Our business is simple, we raise the animal, of your choice, to maturity and facilitate transportation to our chosen USDA inspected processor on your behalf. We then deliver to you, free of charge, your processed vacuum sealed grass fed beef, within 100 miles of processing facility in Burton, TX.
We raise the calves to a target weight of 900 to 1,100 lbs. This target weight should yield 500-600 lbs hanging, cutable meat. You may purchase half a steer or the whole steer, The price is based on hanging weight and is currently $5.00 per hanging weight pound. Price includes meat processing and vacuum sealed.
